Our Approach

Wellbeing practices empower people as they provide simple, effective ways of dealing with mental and physical stress. When these practices become regular habits, they improve lives.

Our evidence-based approach includes tailored workshops, courses, and taster sessions. We actively involve participants in the co-creation of our activities’ content through focus groups, surveys and maintaining an open dialogue with them throughout the process.

Each session is specifically designed to foster a sense of community, allowing people to share their experiences and form connections that extend beyond the remit of the activities themselves.

We invite people to see what they already do to support themselves and explore and experiment with different wellbeing techniques. The aim is to find what else might work for them and to build physical and mental health by introducing safe, gentle exercises into their daily routine.

Who we work with

All of our activities can be tailored to the needs of different audiences, communities, and contexts.

We focus our efforts where we feel our approach can make the biggest difference to the people within those communities.

Some of the groups we have worked with include: carers, older people, primary school children, university students, homeless people, volunteers, and people providing front line services to those who are most vulnerable.

Although each of the communities in which we work have challenges unique to them, they also all have things in common: a lack of empowerment or support, and a vulnerability to social isolation and external pressures beyond their control.

Almost universally our activities reduce stress and isolation, increase self-awareness, resilience, self-regulation, build self-esteem, self-efficacy, and shift mindsets. Our aim is to empower people to find their own path to wellbeing and form healthy habits to last a lifetime.
